Keyboards and Vocals
- Self-taught on piano beginning at age 10
- First band at age 12
- Began playing keyboards professionally at age 16
- Pianist for Bonita High School Jazz Ensemble 1976-78. Received
the following awards:
- Outstanding piano soloist at the Monterey Jazz Festival (High School
Competition) 1977.
- Numerous awards for musicianship from The National Association
of Jazz Educators (NAJE).
- Recognition in "Who's Who Among American High School Students" for
musical acheivement 1977-78.
- Co-recipient of "Sweepstakes Award" for both Monterey and Reno International
Jazz festivals.1978.
- Gordon Goodwin Jazz Award from Bonita High School, 1978.
- Rock Group "Thin Ice" formed in 1977.
- Group won 2nd place award from Hollywood Bowl "Battle of the Bands", 1977.
- Wrote original songs, recorded, and performed at numerous clubs throughout
Southern California, 1977-82.
- Played with Ray Farr and Clockwork (Top 40), 1983-88 and Tyrone Anthony Group
(Jazz Group) intermittently, 1985-95.
- The LCR Band since 1992
- Rain Dogs since 1997

- Sumner Elementary School, 1998-present
- Condit Elementary, 2000
- Received B.A. in History from Cal Poly Pomona, December 1999.
- Plays on the worship team at Sierra Vista Community Church.
- Recently started a career as a History teacher and will continue playing music.
- Married in 1982 to "high school sweetheart" Annemarie.
- Three children: Evan, Brendan, and Grant.
